TMLA is the umbrella association for the Tamworth Region's "on the ground" Landcare groups.  Everyone is encouraged to join to access the many benefits our larger organisation can offer.  We have insurance for our volunteer members and their events, we connect together a large network of diverse groups to not only our region but to Landcare NSW, Landcare Australia and the various government bodies.

The aims of the TMLA are to promote greater involvement by local communities throughout the Upper Namoi catchment in Landcare activities and improved Natural Resource Management, resulting in increased economic, social and environmental sustainability of local communities.
